Decolonizing Policies

Our team has worked with a range of clients supporting policy tools and skills development that enable decolonization and Indigenization, including the Office of the BC Representative for Children and Youth, BC’s Office of the Human Rights Commissioner, Friendship Centres, Indigenous nonprofits, and settler-led community social service agencies.

We view Human Resources through a Human Wellness frame and offer trauma-informed policies and tools, unique to agency context, that use an Indigenous-design approach including supports to Indigenize and decolonize HR and Occupational Health and Safety standards.

Sierra Wells has been practicing mediation for the past 15 years with Indigenous children, families, and communities throughout the province. She is one of the only Indigenous mediators in BC and practices with a culturally-informed approach.
